KJ's Grilling Company: Your Flavorful Dining Destination in Fort Gaines, GA

We were camping at Cotton Hill Campground and went out to see Fort Gaines. This is apparently the only watering hole/restaurant in town. It was quite good. We had wings and the Southwestern Firecracker Rolls - very good! We had a local brew, Omaha Brewing’s Lager and it was tasty. Great service, personable staff and the next time we’re here, we’ll plan on dinner! Affordable.

This is a great restaurant! Always friendly and fast service. The food is freshly cooked and served hot. The draft beer served in a frosted mug stays cold. Love this place.

Called ahead for a group of 13 and they had the table ready for us. It did take a little while for everyone to get their food (menu clearly states that they are not a fast food restaurant) BUT the food was definitely worth the wait! Everything was delicious! Shared smoked sausage, garlic parm wings - cooked perfectly, the BBQ pork and sweet potato fries, plenty leftover. And...an apple tart with ice cream for dessert. Service was great and they were on top of everything. Great stop!

I didn't even realize that Ft. Gaines had an actual restaurant, I was expecting to eat gas station food before going to the haunted house. Waitress was super nice and friendly. Food was great. Perfectly prepared, hot and fresh. Tea was pretty good too. Not much of a reason to be in Fort Gaines but if back in town, we will definitely stop back in.

This little gem was a pleasant surprise. Overall the food was very good. The wings had a great flavor and were good size and moist. The sweet potato fries were fantastic, especially with the cinnamon butter they give you. The fried mushrooms were tasty as well. The place is a bit small, so get there early. The decor is very interesting, as is the building itself. I'll be back for sure.

I had the ribs and they were awesome. Exactly the way I like them cooked with great flavor! I had their original BBQ sauce which was perfect. I tried their bourbon BBQ sauce and the flavor was also great. If you want BBQ this is definitely the place to go!

Was there as it opened to beat the local crowd. Within fifteen minutes my food was delivered. Beer is ice cold.

This place is a local treasure! It’s full of nostalgic charm and friendly people, but the food is the real star attraction! Killer ribs, cold beers, perfect onion rings and fried mushrooms. The patty melt and burgers are all good. The catfish and shrimp are perfectly fried or grilled every time. Service is very attentive. Food is cooked to order so give them a minute to get it to you. It’ll be hot and fresh.
